Terms of Service

Last updated June 17, 2026

These terms govern your use of itsrunway.com and anything you buy from Runway. Runway is an applied AI education business operated by Hannah Laut, based in Denver, Colorado, United States. By using the site or purchasing a program, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or buy a program.

What we sell

Runway offers educational programs and resources, including Running Start (a live cohort training delivered on Zoom), The Build Library (an on-demand subscription with a monthly live Q&A), the ebook, one-on-one working sessions, and custom workshops, training, and advisory for teams and groups. Details and current pricing for each are listed on the relevant page of the site.

Pricing and payment

Prices are shown on the site and may change at any time. Launch or founding pricing is available only during the stated window. Payments are processed by our third-party providers (Gumroad and Stripe). When you purchase, you authorize the applicable charge, including recurring charges for subscriptions. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.

Refunds and cancellation

Because our programs are delivered live or as immediately accessible digital products, the following applies:

Running Start (live cohort) Your payment secures a limited seat in a specific cohort. Seats are limited, doors close before each cohort, and we do not offer rolling enrollment, so we do not provide refunds. If you cannot attend, email us before your cohort begins and we will transfer your seat to a future cohort. Live sessions may be recorded and replays provided; missing a live session does not entitle you to a refund.
The ebook This is a digital product delivered immediately. All sales are final once the product is delivered or downloaded.
The Build Library (subscription) Billing recurs monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose. You can cancel anytime, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide partial or prorated refunds for the current period. Founding pre-sale purchases are billed at checkout, with access opening on the stated launch date.
One-on-one working sessions You may reschedule with at least 24 hours notice. Sessions are non-refundable once they take place, and no-shows are not refunded.
Workshops, training, and advisory Custom engagements are governed by the separate agreement or invoice for that work, which controls if it conflicts with this section.

Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction.

Access and license

When you buy a program, we grant you a personal, non-transferable license to access and use the materials for your own professional development. You may not share your access, resell, redistribute, record, or republish program materials, or use them to build a competing offering, without our written permission.

Your content and what you build

You keep ownership of the work, prompts, and systems you create during a program using your own information. Runway keeps ownership of its course materials, templates, frameworks, recordings, and brand. We may use anonymized learnings to improve the programs.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the site and programs lawfully and respectfully. In live sessions, you agree not to disrupt the experience for others, record without permission, or share other participants' information. We may remove or refuse service to anyone who violates these terms, without a refund where the violation is serious.

Educational purpose, no guarantees

Runway programs are educational. They teach skills and workflows for using AI tools in your work. We do not provide legal, financial, tax, medical, or other professional advice, and our materials are not a substitute for it. Outcomes depend on your own effort, situation, and how you apply what you learn. Testimonials reflect individual experiences and are not a promise that you will get the same results. We do not guarantee any specific result.

Third-party tools

Our programs reference and teach third-party tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Zoom, and others. We are independent and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those companies. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC. Your use of any third-party tool is governed by that company's own terms, and we are not responsible for those tools.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and programs are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Runway and Hannah Laut will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or programs. Our total liability for any claim relating to a program is limited to the amount you paid for that program.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Runway and Hannah Laut from claims arising out of your misuse of the site or programs or your violation of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the business changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top. Your continued use of the site or programs after a change means you accept the updated terms.
