This policy explains what information Runway collects when you visit itsrunway.com or buy something from us, how we use it, and the choices you have. What we collect
Information you give us
When you sign up for a free resource, join the email list, register for Running Start, or buy a product, you give us things like your name and email address. Payment details (card numbers and billing info) go directly to our payment processors, not to us. We receive a confirmation that a purchase happened and your contact details, not your full card number.
Information collected automatically
When you browse the site, we and our analytics tools collect standard technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, and how you interact with pages. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies, and only after you accept them. See "Cookies and tracking" below.

The site does not load analytics or advertising cookies until you accept them through the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, those tools do not run. You can change your choice at any time:

Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed to do their job:
- Kit (email marketing and the email list)
- Gumroad and Stripe (payments and product delivery)
- Zoom (live sessions for Running Start and related programs)
- Google, Meta, and Microsoft Clarity (analytics and advertising, only with your consent)
Each provider has its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to certain uses. You can also opt out of marketing emails at any time and decline or withdraw cookie consent using the Cookie settings button above. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing are your consent (for cookies and marketing), the performance of a contract (to deliver what you bought), and our legitimate interests (to run and improve the business). If you are a California resident, we do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account or subscription is active, as long as needed to provide what you bought, and as long as required for legal and accounting purposes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reputable third-party platforms with their own security measures to store and process your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
This site and our programs are intended for working professionals and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
International visitors
We operate from the United States. If you access the site from outside the US, your information will be processed in the US and other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your own.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the site.
